This exclusive event will feature several current dietetic interns who have successfully navigated the match process. You will have the opportunity to take a walk through DICAS and learn tips and tricks from individuals who have been in your position. Feel free to bring your resume, personal statement, and any other materials with you for a peer-review by our dietetic interns.
Conference Program and Overview:
Julie Duffy Dillon MS, RD,NCC,LDN,CEDRD; Owner of Julie Dillon Consulting, Greensboro, NC
Polycystic ovarian syndrome is the most common cause of ovulatory infertility and 40% of those affected experience diabetes by the time they are 40. Most dietitians rely on weight centric calorie restrictions and low carb diabetic meal planning to treat PCOS yet those don’t work for most people. This presentation will focus on filling up the dietitian’s toolbox with concrete weight inclusive tools to help clients understand their physiology, improve body image, and illuminate their path toward Food Peace.
Registration fee includes light breakfast and catered lunch. GNYDA reserves the right to return registration once capacity has been reached. On-site registration (add $20), space permitting. A portion of the registration fee will be donated to the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics Foundation.
Written cancellation requests post-marked by January 13, 2019 will be honored in full less a $10.00 processing fee. No refunds after 1/13/19.
We would like to thank to following companies for their product donations! (Not an all-inclusive list)
