Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS) is one of the most common endocrine disorders and the leading cause of anovulatory infertility. Unfortunately, the symptoms and the conventional approach to treatment often leave those diagnosed with the condition ashamed, confused, and frustrated. Though it is common, reliable information on how to treat it can be hard to come by. And it can be even harder to find non-restrictive, person-centered treatment information. Fortunately, there are a growing number of practitioners providing competent and compassionate guidance to those with PCOS.
Learn how you can support people diagnosed with PCOS using a mindful weight-neutral approach in A Mindful Approach to PCOS Care, led by Kendra Tolbert, MS, RDN, RYT.
In this webinar, Kendra Tolbert, a registered dietitian and yoga teacher specializing in fertility and women's health, will explore and share the benefits of bringing the principles of mindfulness to PCOS care. She will also share practical research-backed contemplative-based practices (such as accessible yoga poses, mindful eating, journaling, and meditation) you can use with clients to improve their symptoms and quality of life.
