Join us for our first Diversity Roundtable event featuring Maya Feller and Vanessa Rissetto as our moderators! We will have a panel discussion on diversity, why it's so important, actionable steps that can be taken, and more!

1. Maya Feller, MS, RD, CDN of Brooklyn-based Maya Feller Nutrition is a registered dietitian nutritionist, nationally recognized nutrition expert and adjunct professor at New York University.  In her practice, she provides medical nutrition therapy for the management of and risk reduction of non-communicable diseases. Maya is dedicated to promoting nutrition education that helps the public to make informed food choices that support health and longevity. Maya shares her approachable, real food based solutions to millions of people through regular speaking engagements, writing in local and national publications, via her social media account on Instagram, @mayafellerRD, and as a national nutrition expert on Good Morning America, GMA3: What You Need to Know and more.

2. Vanessa Rissetto, MS, RD  received her MS in Marketing at NYU and completed her Dietetic Internship at Mount Sinai Hospital where she worked as a Senior Dietitian for five years. She is certified in Adult Weight Management (Levels I & II) by the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics. Her work in private practice also includes treatment of GI disorders, bariatric surgery, weight management, PCOS, and family nutrition. She is mostly interested in helping clients to take an active role in their health journey, any of her clients can tell you she motivates and ensures that they always achieve success. Vanessa was named by Essence magazine as one of the top 5 black nutritionists that will change the way you think about food and currently serves as the Dietetic Internship Director at New York University.

3. Kameron Rowe, MS, RD, CDN, is a registered dietitian based in Albany, NY. Kameron completed her dietetic internship at Cornell University and obtained a MS in Nutrition from Meredith College and BA in Exercise and Sport Science from UNC Chapel Hill. She has extensive experience working in the clinical and community setting. Kameron is passionate about diversifying the dietetics profession and volunteers with Diversify Dietetics and the New York State Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics. In her free time, she enjoys baking, reading autobiographies, and traveling.

4. Jonathan Valdez MBA, RDN, CSG, CDN, CCM, CDCES, ACE-CPT is a New York City-based Registered Dietitian Nutritionist and named Top Pro by Diet Spotlight from 2017-2018.  In 2017, Valdez began his private practice, Genki Nutrition, specializing in nutrition and agriculture communications, marketing and business strategies, recipe development, and food-styling and food photography. He has worked with brands such as the American Dairy Association North East, New York Beef Council, Produce for Better Health, Food Minds, Bayer, New York Beef Council, Hatun Olive Oil, and more. Valdez is also featured as an evidence-based expert in Forbes, Men's Health, Askmen.com, Byrdie, Food Network, Huffington Post, Business Insider, Shape Magazine, Women’s Health, and Daily Mail.
