Anna Meister, Co chair
Anna has a Masters in Clinical Nutrition from NYU. She also completed her dietetic internship at NY Presbyterian hospital. She has been an active member of the GNYDA and has co-chaired the HEN SIG for several years. She is passionate about hunger, food security, and creating a sustainable food system here in NY and globally.
She currently works in outpatient dialysis but is interested in pediatric nutrition, integrative health and functional nutrition. She enjoys yoga, meditation, trying different cuisines, and playing with her toddler son.
Jeannie Ng, Co chair
Jeannie is a public health nutritionist focusing on mindfully intuitive eating, promoting food security, through sustainable practices and fostering social support through community. For the past few years, she's gained invaluable experience in maternal and pediatric community nutrition managing the Special Supplemental Food and Nutrition Program for Women, Infants and Children (WIC) through The Brooklyn Hospital Center. She is also actively involved as a core member of the Stanton Street Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) and Hellgate CSA.
Recently, Jeannie has launched Yin Yang Glow which is her body-positive and earth-loving nutrition and wellness brand that provides telehealth nutrition coaching, conducts group/corporate food demonstrations/nutrition workshops, hosts cooking socials and creates vegan, animal cruelty-free, organic, beautiful body products. In her free time she enjoys spending as much time outdoors and in the sun as she can hiking, biking, and picnicking at the park.
Simone Wilsone, Student chair
Simone is a full-time Masters candidate in Clinical Nutrition at NYU, currently completing her dietetic internship at Mount Sinai Medical Center. As a career changer, her background lies in restaurant management and operations. Her interests include traveling, vegan baking, plant-based nutrition, and pediatrics.
